Excaliber is pleased to announce that, starting today, applications are open to all Italian development studios for participation in the activities of Rome Video Game Lab 2025. Developers can apply to be considered for one of the 20 free exhibition spots available in the Indie Showcase, as well as for meetings in the B2B area of RVGL 2025.

Rome Video Game Lab is the Italian festival that promotes video games as cultural and social products. Now in its seventh edition, RVGL 2025 will take place from May 8 to May 11 at WeGil, a cultural hub of the Lazio Region, designed by architect Luigi Moretti in 1933 and located in the heart of Trastevere, one of Rome’s most iconic neighborhoods.

To apply for one of the 20 free exhibition spots in the Indie Showcase, applicants must complete the official form in its entirety at this link. To request participation in the B2B meetings, applicants must fill out the dedicated form available at this link. The deadline for both applications is set for March 14, 2025. The Rome Video Game Lab organization will review all submissions and, at its sole discretion, determine which development studios will be granted exhibition spaces or access to B2B activities. The results of both selections will be communicated no later than April 11, 2025 through the official Rome Video Game Lab communication channels.

For any questions or concerns regarding the Indie Showcase, the B2B area, or the selection process, please contact Giorgio Catania, Founder of Excaliber – organizational partner of the event and head of both the Indie Showcase and B2B area – at the following email address: giorgio.catania@excaliber.it
