On 11-13 June 2025, the new edition of First Playable will take place in Florence. This business-focused event for the video game sector is organized by IIDEA, the association representing the industry in Italy.
The event, which will be attended by international publishers and investors, represents an important opportunity for many Italian development studios to showcase their projects and expand their network of contacts.
For this reason, Giorgio Catania, Founder of Excaliber and former coordinator of the first four editions of First Playable, will be attending the event every day to meet with Italian developers and international guests, with the goal to meet and create connections with many professionals from all over the world. Joining him will be Lucia Frizzo, PR & Support and a member of the Excaliber team.
On Wednesday, June 11, starting at 2:30 PM, Giorgio will be at Cinema La Compagnia and available for informal meetings. On Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13, he will be at Palazzo degli Affari to attend numerous business meetings — and to present some of the projects he is working on in partnership with various Italian studios.
