Excaliber is pleased to share one of the initiatives aimed at supporting the growth of the Italian video game industry. Specifically, IGDA Campania is bringing its first season to a close by announcing a Pitch Day & Demo event in Salerno.
After months of meetups, talks, networking opportunities, and community-building activities across Naples and Salerno, IGDA Campania is preparing to conclude this first chapter of its journey with an event dedicated to video games and the people who create them.
On 28th June 2026, at iMorticelli in Salerno, IGDA Campania – Pitch Day & Demo will take place, offering a platform for indie developers, teams, and studios from across Italy. The initiative aims to give participants the opportunity to present their projects, receive feedback from the community, and, whenever possible, let other developers, industry professionals, and enthusiasts try their games.
The initiative is open not only to developers who already have a playable demo, but also to those who wish to showcase projects still in their early stages, present concepts and development materials, share ideas, or engage with attendees to gather valuable feedback for their games.
With this closing event, IGDA Campania seeks to celebrate the journey undertaken over the past few months while continuing to strengthen the dialogue between developers, studios, and creative organizations across the region. At the same time, the event welcomes teams from all over Italy, reflecting the spirit of inclusivity and support that characterizes IGDA both nationally and internationally.
Those interested in taking part can apply through the official submission form. Further details regarding guests, the event schedule, and partners will be announced soon through IGDA’s official channels.
