Excaliber is pleased to announce that starting today, 5th May 5 2025 at 7:00 PM, and running until Sunday, 11th May 2025, at 7:00 PM, Indie Assemble will take place: a special Steam promotion dedicated to indie games from around the world, available at this link.
Indie Assemble will feature over 1,000 indie games: from a wide selection of already released and discounted titles to upcoming ones arriving in the coming months, not to mention free-to-play games: all ready to be added to the digital libraries of millions of players. Whether you are into action, adventure, racing, platformers, horror, survival, card games, point-and-click, strategy, or idle games, Steam users are sure to find something for them in Indie Assemble!

With this initiative, Excaliber has brought together more than 600 development studios and publishers from around the world, in a global effort that required significant and well-structured planning. Indie Assemble does not just showcase the colors of Italy and various European nations, but represents a total of 63 countries across every continent: developers from Australia, the United States, Morocco, China, Costa Rica, Greenland, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Japan, Syria, Korea, Ukraine, Tunisia, Vietnam, and many other nations have joined forces to celebrate indie creativity and stand out in an increasingly competitive market that leaves less and less room for smaller, more experimental productions.
“The interest shown in Indie Assemble has been astounding” says Giorgio Catania, Founder of Excaliber and curator of the initiative. “I wasn’t expecting such a massive response, but once word spread through the channels frequented by international indie developers, participation requests started pouring in nonstop. And since Excaliber’s mission is to foster the growth of the video game industry, with a particular focus on the indie scene, expanding the reach of the promotion as much as possible was a natural and spontaneous choice. Because, as I have learned from my many years of experience in the field, there is strength in unity. ”

Numbers aside, what titles will be featured in Indie Assemble? Listing them all would be impossible, but Excaliber is pleased to offer a small preview of some of the hidden gems that players will be able to discover by exploring the various sections of Indie Assemble.
