Excaliber is pleased to launch the second Italian Game Devs Abroad survey, following the success of the previous edition, which gathered responses from over 100 Italian professionals working in more than 80 companies across 18 countries – available at this link (available in Italian language only).
This study aims to provide an updated overview of the Italian presence abroad and to explore the professional contribution of these talents to the growth of the global industry. To broaden the perspective compared to the previous edition, new sections have been introduced addressing the most important and sensitive topics, and respondents are also offered the opportunity to take part in an optional interview designed to collect meaningful personal stories to be published in the final report and/or on the Excaliber website.
The aggregated results of this survey will be presented by Excaliber by June 2026 and will be shared through the website, social channels, and the newsletter, which reaches thousands of developers, publishers, and journalists from all over the world. The survey will be available in both Italian and English.
