Intermundia: Dungeons, Polygons & Magic has been created to revolutionize the gamebook experience. No more paper, pens, or endless notes – this game transforms reading into a dynamic and interactive adventure, where the book becomes the beating heart of the gameplay.
In the full version, players will read the story and make decisions directly from the physical book, while every interaction will be managed through a video game on PC, console, or mobile devices.
This Steam demo offers a specially adapted experience: it includes a digital book chapter, guiding players through the story paragraphs until the adventure truly begins. Once the quest starts, you will dive into the action – exploring dungeons, battling enemies, and uncovering treasures, for a first taste of what awaits in the final game.
Since the game is still in development, its experimental nature may be apparent in the demo, but the team is working tirelessly to refine and expand the experience with all the key features of the final version. The story of Intermundia
The year is 2030. Millions of players have started their journey in Intermundia, an immersive VR MMORPG powered by Virtual 5ense, the only device capable of engaging all five senses.
The story follows Mar, a player in Genesis, one of the three universes within Intermundia. In the real world, he is just a young man on the verge of adulthood – but in this virtual universe, he is a novice summoner striving for greatness. With the help of David3, his childhood friend and a skilled paladin, Mar is determined to become the strongest mage. Only then will he have a chance to win the Immortal Games, a legendary tournament where fame and fortune await the victor.
