Indie Assemble, the global celebration of indie video games organized by Excaliber, has come to an end. On 5-11 May 2025, over 600 development studios and publishers from 63 countries came together under one banner, showcasing more than 1,200 titles to Steam users – all to highlight the creativity, originality, and passion behind indie game creation. And players responded enthusiastically: during the week, Indie Assemble reached over 3.3 million impressions and more than 100,000 unique views.

“Many development studios reached out to express their satisfaction” says Giorgio Catania, Founder of Excaliber and promoter of the initiative. “For many of them, this was the first real opportunity to showcase their products to a broad audience beyond their own communities.
The great success of Indie Assemble has confirmed that this is the right path to follow. That is why we are currently in talks with Steam to further develop the initiative and bring it back in the future with new features and, hopefully, lots of exciting new games from studios all around the world. ”

Major titles took center stage on the Indie Assemble promotional page, including: Abyssus by DoubleMoose Games, Anarchy Road by Bunker Brothers, Pile Up! by Remoob, Ironhive by Wondernaut Studio, Primal Planet by Seethingswarm, Breathedge 2 by RedRuins Softworks, Toy Shire by Bluespy Studios, Stand-Alone by Lifuel, RailGods of Hysterra by Troglobytes Games, The Bloodline by Shieldbearer Studios, Alkahest by Push On, BrokenLore: Don’t Watch by Serafini Productions, Cinema by Trinity Team, Narita Boy by Studio Koba, Shardpunk by Clockwork Pile, Phoenix Springs by Calligram Studio, SteamWorld Heist by Image & Form Games, Awaken – Astral Blade by Dark Pigeon Games, Dungeon Drafters by Manalith Studios, Viewfinder by Sad Owl Studios, The Strongest TOFU by Zounoashi Games, Roadwarden by Moral Anxiety Studio, Endzone 2 by Gentlymad Studios, Nice Day for Fishing by FusionPlay, Light Odyssey by Ssun Games, Sliding Hero by Silent Chicken, Monastery: Ora et Labora by Dragonkin Studios, Ancestral Harvest by 1011 and The First Ones, and many others.
