Excaliber is pleased to share all the exciting updates about Indie Assemble: The 123 Stars, the brand-new promotion dedicated to indie video games, which will take place on Steam on 1 – 7 September 2025!
The number of submissions from developers and publishers around the world has been extraordinary: a total of 1234 entries – a figure as surprising as it is symbolic, perfectly in line with the name of the initiative.
Such a large number of submissions required significant effort to select the 123 titles that will take part in the initiative. This was made possible only thanks to the support of an exceptional Jury, composed of seven international industry experts selected by Excaliber. The Jury chose the participating titles based on well-defined criteria, with particular attention to originality, artistic value, and the geographical diversity of the entries.
During the promotion, two special recognitions will also be assigned:
- the Jury Choice, awarded to the title most appreciated by the Jury,
- the Brightest Star, voted by the public from a shortlist of finalists selected by the Jury.
