This year, Excaliber will once again partner with Lucania is Comics 2026 to support activities dedicated to independent game development, helping Italian developers showcase their projects and bring their work to a wider audience.
Lucania is Comics is the festival that brings comics, music, gaming, entertainment, and science to the heart of Potenza, transforming the historic centre of Basilicata’s regional capital into a meeting place for communities, professionals, artists, and enthusiasts from October 9 to 11. A particularly evocative setting in a city with a long history and a rich cultural heritage, which for the occasion will host numerous themed areas, activities, and guests.
Within the indie area, Excaliber will contribute to the creation of a showcase dedicated to independent games, giving developers the opportunity to present their projects to the festival audience.
Alongside the showcase, training activities will also be organized to support the professional growth of participating studios, providing developers with useful tools and skills to prepare their games for an increasingly international market.
A new opportunity to build connections, discover new projects, and contribute to the growth of the Italian indie ecosystem. All of this is part of a broader programme of activities and events organized or supported by Excaliber as it continues to pursue its mission: helping the video game industry grow.
