Last May, the seventh edition of Rome Video Game Lab took place: a festival that promotes the cultural and social values of video games, produced by Q Academy with the support of Excaliber. The event was held in Rome, at WeGil, and welcomed dozens of Italian game development studios alongside several international guests.

On this occasion, Excaliber conducted five interviews with industry professionals, discussing a range of topics including the video game industry, their personal experiences, and the skills needed to work in this field.

Starting today and over the next four weeks, we will publish interviews with: Jehanne Rousseau (Writer & Worldbuilder, former CEO of Spiders), Gianluca Vatinno (Senior Game Programmer at ustwo games), Cristina Nava (Co-Founder of Day 4 Night), Mark Choi (Composer, BAFTA Juror) e Romy Halfweeg (Event Manager at Courage, BAFTA Juror).

We begin with the first interview with Jehanne Rousseau. Enjoy watching!
